FAQ

Snuzzza® FAQ

😩 Why is getting a baby to sleep so hard sometimes?

Every parent knows the struggle. Sometimes you just need a moment—to eat, to shower, to breathe—but your baby has other plans. Snuzzza helps you reclaim those critical moments.

🧸 What is the Snuzzza®?

Snuzzza is a handheld baby hammock—a soft, breathable nest that cradles your baby in a natural "C-curve" position.

  • Soft, padded, and breathable
  • Shields from overstimulation
  • Allows full visibility and airflow
  • Used only with caregiver supervision
🛠️ How do I use it?
  1. Lay your baby on their back in the center of the Snuzzza.
  2. Lift the sides using the handles to form a soft, curved hammock.
  3. Gently walk or sit with the Snuzzza suspended—rocking helps your baby sleep.

Slide a beam across your thighs and rest the Snuzzza handles on it to eat hands-free.

✈️ Is it travel-friendly?

Yes! Use it on flights, in restaurants, or while visiting friends. It’s ultra-portable and calming for baby anywhere.

🛏️ Does it help when putting baby into a crib?

Yes. Lower the Snuzzza gently into the crib and release slowly. Flatten and fasten the fabric to keep it safe and open.

👶 What is a baby hammock?

A baby hammock is a soft, supportive fabric sling that mimics the curled-up feeling babies had in the womb—naturally comforting and calming.

🌀 Is the curved position safe?

Yes, in moderation. The C-curve supports natural posture in newborns, but babies also need flat time for muscle development. Alternate use is ideal.

🔄 When should I stop using it?

Stop using the Snuzzza when your baby begins rolling over independently—usually between 4–6 months. Use only under supervision beyond this stage.

⏱️ How long can I use the Snuzzza at a time?
  • Use for up to 2–3 hours for naps or calming (under supervision).
  • Do not use as a full-time sleep solution—alternate with firm, flat surfaces.
🧪 Has it been safety tested?

Yes. We’ve stress-tested the Snuzzza with 20kg of weight—far beyond the average baby weight of 3–6kg—to ensure its durability and safety.

😴 Can my baby suffocate in it?
  • Keep your baby's face visible at all times.
  • Do not use if your baby can roll over unsupervised.
  • Do not place any loose items in the Snuzzza.
  • Always supervise while in use.
🚫 Should I cover my baby with the Snuzzza?

No. The Snuzzza is not a cover—your baby’s head and face should always remain visible and unobstructed to ensure airflow and prevent suffocation.

🧼 How long will I use it?
  • Use for months as a soothing tool.
  • Later as a snuggle blanket or toy carrier.
  • Pass on to friends or family—it’s made to last.
💡 Final tip?

Don’t rely on it for every sleep. Use it when you need a break—a shower, a phone call, a meal. It gives you back your rhythm when everything feels overwhelming.
