What is Snuzzza?

Snuzzza is a soft, durable, under-table baby hammock designed by a dad who just wanted his arms back. It clips securely to a "crossbeam" which we call a lap strap and lets your baby nap peacefully while you get on with life: eating, working, even doing a few calf raisers if that’s your thing. Think of it as a gentle swing meets an honest parenting hack.

It’s simple. It works. And it’s built for real life.

Why Snuzzza instead of something else?

We love that other products like the Livebag exist. In fact, discovering the Livebag gave us comfort in knowing we weren’t the only ones tackling this real-life parenting problem: how do I keep my baby close and happy without giving up my body, my meal, or my sanity? We love the Livebag aesthetic too, but we prefer simplicity.

Snuzzza is our spin on this solution — stripped-back, ultra-durable, and intentionally designed to work with less fuss and more fun. It’s a different design, with amazing safety and will give the same level of comfort to medical professionals that Livebag does - because ultimately when a baby is in it, it’ll give you the support, shape and strength that has already stood up to rigorous German testing.

It comes with a strap to suspend it with your own legs

No other system gives you this level of freedom. Strap the system on while sitting in any chair or stool and you'll have an open, air-filled, comfy space for your baby ANYWHERE.

No Buckles. No Breakage.

Snuzzza has zero buckles or hardware that could break, loosen, or end up in the hammock with your baby. Instead, we use heavy-duty rope handles that are adjustable, strong, and knot-secure. Less plastic = fewer risks.

3-Layer Construction = Soft + Strong

Snuzzza is padded with three strategic layers:

• Inner: 100% Organic Cotton — pure softness for your baby’s skin.
• Insulation: 100% Polyester — breathable, keeps baby cool in summer and warm in winter.
• Outer: 80% Cotton / 20% Polyester — strong, flexible, and super soft.

We’ve used it through brutal South African summers and found it stays cool and comfortable without overheating. (Still: never over-cover your baby in hot weather. Common sense is part of the Snuzzza method.)

Flexible Design

Unlike rigid or hooded carriers, Snuzzza is not tailored around your baby’s head. You can shift, swaddle, or position your little one how they like best. No bulky seams or fixed forms.

Besides simple lines you’re also going to see incredible prints becoming a feature of the fabric super soon. These will make you want to wear the Snuzzza as an accessory even past the baby years.

Folds Flat & Lasts Longer

Remove the rope handles and you’ve got a durable, comfy blanket that works well beyond the baby phase. At 80cm x 1m, it’s usable up to age 4 or 5 — for naps, teddies, or picnics.

Strength in Simplicity

The rope handles are adjustable, loop-secured, and strong enough to last through wild toddler years. Every part of the Snuzzza has been thought through to balance minimalist design with everyday strength. So far we've tested it up to 20kg — but we're pushing this further too... stay tuned.

Is it safe?

We’ll never claim to replace a crib or bassinet. Snuzzza is made for supervised naps, cuddle sessions, or chill time while parents eat or work nearby. When used as intended, it’s an amazing bonding and practical tool that gives parents back a little more freedom — and lets babies gently bounce their way to dreamland.
